Eastern Florida State College Baseball Team Set to Battle in Doubleheader This Saturday
Hey there, Space Coast fans! If you’re looking for a fun way to support local sports this weekend, you won’t want to miss the Eastern Florida State College baseball team’s doubleheader against the State College of Florida Manatee. This showdown kicks off Saturday at 1 p.m. in Sarasota, and our Titans are ready to bounce back after a tough loss earlier this week at Bruce Bochy Field.
In Thursday’s game, the Titans faced a challenging opponent, but standout players like Jackson Wargo, who racked up four hits, and Shane Thomas, who hit two impressive home runs, showed what they are capable of. Currently, the Titans’ record stands at 8-14 in the conference, and they’re eager to turn things around with a strong performance.
On the other side of the field, SCF-Manatee is coming off a hot streak, with 19 hits in their last match and a batting average of .321 for the season. Players like Dominic Woodward are certainly making waves with a .383 average, along with Josh Castellani, who has been racking up doubles and triples.
