FBI Seeks Public Assistance in Mysterious Case of Disappeared Truck Driver Last Seen in Brevard County
Attention, Space Coast residents! A mysterious case has unfolded right in our backyard involving a truck driver whose disappearance has raised a lot of questions. Alejandro Jacomino Gonzalez, a 41-year-old commercial truck driver, was last spotted in Brevard County on April 17th, and authorities are working hard to piece together the puzzle. For those of us who frequently travel our local highways, this situation hits a bit closer to home.
Gonzalez had recently picked up a load of vehicles in Brunswick, Georgia, and was making his way to Miami. CCTV footage indicates that he stopped at a rest area in Grant-Valkaria around 1:21 AM. After resting, his vehicle’s GPS showed some strange activity: by 7:49 AM, it drove south for a short distance before turning back north toward Jacksonville. Shortly after, Gonzalez vanished without a trace—leaving behind not only his truck, which was later found abandoned in Georgia, but also several vehicles he was transporting.
This unfolding mystery has not only the FBI but the entire community of Brevard County on alert. Although three of the missing vehicles have been located here in Florida, both Gonzalez and other vehicles remain unaccounted for. The FBI is now seeking help from the public, specifically asking anyone who might have been in the Grant-Valkaria area between 1 AM and 8 AM on April 17 to come forward with any photos or video footage they may have taken. Little details could make a significant difference.
While investigators have yet to clarify what role, if any, Gonzalez played in this situation, it’s crucial for locals to stay vigilant and informed. If you have any information, the FBI encourages you to reach out by calling their toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI. Life on the Space Coast may be beautiful, but it’s essential for our community to come together in times like these to support one another.
