COCOA BEACH, Fla. — Get ready, Space Coast! This weekend, Cocoa Beach is set to come alive as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels take to the skies for the much-anticipated Air Dot Show. Returning to our beautiful shores, this spectacular air show celebrates not only thrilling aerial maneuvers but also honors America’s 250th anniversary. It’s an event that promises fun for the whole family while showcasing some of the best pilots in the nation.
The action kicks off both days from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with Lori Wilson Park acting as the central hub for all the excitement. But don’t worry if you can’t snag a spot there—the awe-inspiring performances will be visible all along Cocoa Beach, extending from the iconic Cocoa Beach Pier to Minutemen Causeway. Imagine watching the sleek F-18 Super Hornets soar above, performing mind-blowing loops and tight formations so close that their wingtips are just two feet apart. Talk about a heart-racing sight!
In addition to the Blue Angels, the lineup includes a host of other aerial performers guaranteed to wow the crowd. Keep your eyes peeled for the F-16 Viper Demo Team, the historical B-52 Stratofortress, and our local heroes from the 920th Rescue Wing, among others. This marks an exciting return for the Blue Angels to our Space Coast skies after five long years—definitely a milestone worth celebrating!
If you’re planning to be a part of the action, a few tips: There’s plenty of free viewing space available from the beach, but for those who want a more focused experience, ticketed seating ranges from $37.50 to $199. Expect Cocoa Beach to be buzzing this weekend, and it’s wise to arrive early to beat the traffic—certainly on A1A and State Road 520, which are expected to be crowded. Grab your beach chair, shade, and your friends, and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of high-flying fun!
