Florida’s Biggest Lacrosse Tournament is Just Around the Corner!
Hey, Space Coast neighbors! There’s an exciting event happening just a little up the road in Palm Coast this Father’s Day that’s bound to make waves across Brevard County. Get ready to cheer on young athletes at Florida’s largest lacrosse tournament, where over 150 youth teams from across the Sunshine State will be showcasing their skills. If you love the thrill of youth sports and community spirit, you won’t want to miss this!
This tournament is part of a trio of major events organized by Palm Coast, including the Pumpkin Shootout and Veterans Day Invitational. It’s spectacular to see how these tournaments have cemented Palm Coast’s reputation as a key destination for youth sports in Florida. “For 18 years, this tournament has brought athletes and families from across the state to Palm Coast, and we’re proud to continue that tradition,” said James Hirst, the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Palm Coast. Isn’t it great to see local communities thrive through sports?
The games will be held at the Indian Trails Sports Complex, featuring divisions ranging from 8U all the way to high school. Not only will you witness some impressive talent on the field, but this event is expected to bring in over $1 million to the local economy. That’s great news for our surrounding businesses in Brevard County and highlights the importance of community events in boosting local economies!
If you’re looking for a fun way to spend Father’s Day, why not head over to Palm Coast to soak in the action? It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to bond over sports, connect with other community members, and make some lasting memories. Plus, you might just inspire the next generation of athletes right here in our own backyard.
