Safety Upgrades Coming to Our Railroad Crossings!
Hey, Space Coast friends! If you’ve been buzzing around Brevard County lately, you might have noticed the increasing train traffic. Well, there’s some good news on the horizon! Brightline is teaming up with local authorities to enhance safety measures at several railroad crossings right here in our neck of the woods. From April 27 to May 1, keep an eye out for crews working diligently to make our roads safer.
During the weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the team will be out on various roads, including familiar spots like Post Road and Eau Gallie Boulevard. Expect some shoulder and lane closures as they roll up their sleeves to improve things. While a few minor delays are likely, these upgrades are crucial for ensuring the safety of drivers and pedestrians alike. We all know that the more we prioritize safety, the better our community functions!
So, whether you’re heading to Cocoa Beach for some fun in the sun or planning a trip to see loved ones in Titusville, make sure to plan ahead and drive cautiously through these work zones. Your patience is appreciated as we work together to keep our roads and crossings safe for everyone, including those experiencing the thrill of a train zooming by!
If you have any questions or concerns during the construction period, Kevin Brancheau, P.E., is your go-to contact at 786-681-3071. Don’t hesitate to reach out—communication is key in keeping our community informed so we can all navigate these changes smoothly.
Let’s all embrace these safety upgrades that are coming to our beloved Space Coast! It’s all about making our beautiful Brevard County an even better place to live and travel. What do you think, Space Coast? Drop your thoughts below.
