Another Exciting SpaceX Launch on the Space Coast!
If you’re a resident of Brevard County, you likely know that nothing compares to the thrill of a rocket launch. Today, SpaceX is set to add to that excitement with the launch of 29 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral. Liftoff is scheduled for 5:05 p.m., making this a perfect evening event for families and space enthusiasts alike!
This mission marks a significant milestone with the Falcon 9 rocket, which will be using its first-stage booster for the 34th time. After parting ways from the second stage of the rocket, the booster will be making its way back to Earth for a landing on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. It truly is a marvel of modern engineering and rocket science!
Residents can easily catch all the action, as WESH 2 will be streaming the launch live.
