Capping Off Achievement: Melbourne Central Catholic High School’s 2026 Commencement
In a vibrant celebration of achievement, Melbourne Central Catholic High School honored its graduating Class of 2026 with a spirited commencement ceremony at Hustler Stadium on May 22. As the sun set over our beautiful Space Coast, families and friends gathered to witness 105 graduates take a significant step forward in their lives, tossing their mortarboards into the air amidst cheers and tears of joy.
Among the graduates, Valedictorian Kennedy Carter and Salutatorian Caleb Carroll stood out, sharing heartfelt words of inspiration and gratitude. In her speech, Carter reflected on the bonds forged during high school and the adventures awaiting them beyond MCC’s campus. Carroll encouraged his classmates to embrace their unique paths and to chase after their dreams with passion. Their words resonated not just with fellow graduates, but also with the parents and educators who have supported them every step of the way.
This year’s ceremony marked Melbourne Central Catholic’s 62nd commencement, a testament to the school’s enduring legacy in Brevard County education. The sense of community was palpable, with familiar faces from the neighborhood lending their support. It’s a moment that reminds us all of the importance of coming together to celebrate our youth and the bright futures ahead of them.
